 Below you'll find the answers for the most common queries for the 2016 programme:

​1.Who is this programme for?
This programme is designed for professionals involved in the field of pensions – regulators, pension fund managers and analysts, asset management specialists, public policy officials and consultants.

Rio de Janeiro, 4-8 July 2016

3.How can I apply for a place on this programme?

4.What's the programme fee and what it is included?
Please see the Fees section.
The programme fee includes tuition, electronic materials, simultaneous translation, tea and coffee breaks (Tuesday - Friday), lunches (Tuesday-Friday) and a welcome reception with canapés (Monday).

5. What is not included in the programme fee?
No travel expenses or accommodation costs are included in the programme fee; this includes all flights, accommodation, airport transfers, travel insurance, dinners and any other expenses.

6.Where is the programme being held?
The programme will take place at Hotel Sofitel Rio de Janeiro Copacabana

7.Can I get a discount on my accommodation?
A discounted group rate is available for the programme attendees. The room rate is $210 USD per room per night and includes breakfast and WiFi. The rate is subject to 10% service charge and 5% ISS governmental tax. Once we receive your registration, we will send you a form with all the information about the hotel in order to make the booking.
 
8.Do I need a visa to get to Brazil?
For further information about visas see the website of the Brazilian Consulate in your country. Your passport should be valid for a minimum period of six months from the date of entry into Brazil.  
Visas are the responsibility of the delegates. However once we have received payment we can issue an official confirmation letter to support your visa application.
 
9.Do I need any vaccinations?
Please visit your health professional at least four to six weeks before your trip to check whether you need any vaccinations or other preventive measures.
 
10.Can I claim travel expenses for this trip?
No. Travel expenses and/or accommodation costs are not included in the programme fee; this includes all flights, accommodation, airport transfers, travel insurance and any other expenses.
 
11.Can I pay for my place once I get to Brazil?
No. Payment must be received in full before the programme commences. We can only confirm your place once payment has been received.
Payment for the programme fees must be by credit or debit card or by invoice (bank transfer). Payment must be made within 14 days of the date of invoice, and in any event, no later than seven days before the Global Pensions Programme commences.
 
12.As a participant, am I insured when in Brazil?
Participants are responsible for organising their own travel insurance. Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all participants.
